Bridget joined Outline as co-director of the company in 2008. She is primarily responsible for the quality of Outline's programming output and executive produces a range of shows for the company including the recent BBC2 hit cookery series Tom Kerridge's Proper Pub Food.
She also contributes to the ideas generation process within the company and has been instrumental in the development of the Revival brand for the BBC. As executive producer of this brand which includes Great British Food Revival, Britains Big Wildlife Revival and Great British Garden Revival she has persuaded the countries leading and most well known TV chefs, wildlife experts and gardeners to take part and champion a cause close to their hearts.
Prior to Outline Bridget worked at Optomen Television were she executive produced Mary Queen of Shops for BBC2. Before that she was head of the BBC’s Features and Formats department known for its range of successful factual brands including Watchdog, Rogue Traders, and Crimewatch. From 2003-2006 Bridget was Controller of Factual Productions at ITV where she commissioned a range of successful formatted shows like RTS winners Holiday Showdown and Bad Lads Army. Prior to joining ITV she was the Controller of Features for ITV North for 4 years. Bridget began her career at the BBC in Manchester working for Janet Street Porter on youth programmes output Rough Guides and Reportage.
