The Express – Pick of the day: Tom Kerridge’s Proper Pub Food

Tom Kerridge is the only British chef who has earned two Michelin stars by cooking in a pub and in this new six-part series he shows us how to make dishes inspired by pub classics.

First up, a slow-cooked shoulder of lamb that melts in the mouth, some mussels cooked in ale for a barbecue at his local brewery, a salt beef bagel inspired by a London street market stall and a hearty pollack, chorizo and chickpea stew.
