Televisual – Outline hires Studio Lambert’s Baldwin to head development

Outline Productions has hired Shona Baldwin, formerly head of format development at Studio Lambert and a key part of the team behind Gogglebox and Million Second Quiz as its new head of development.

Baldwin will report to creative director Helen Veale and will help to expand the indie’s slate with returnable and popular series for the UK and the US.

At Studio Lambert, Baldwin built and led its entertainment and factual format development team, creating programming for broadcasters across the UK and USA. Alongside Gogglebox(Channel 4) and Million Second Quiz (NBC), she played a major role in the development of series including The Insider (BBC Three and TNT USA) and The Great Interior Design Challenge (BBC Two).

Before joining Studio Lambert, Baldwin was a producer and director at ITV Studios, working on series including Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, Come Dine With Me and Hell’s Kitchen.

Outline Productions is responsible for Britain’s Big Wildlife Revival (6 x 60, BBC One), Tom Kerridge’s Proper Pub Food (7 x 30, BBC Two), Million Dollar Intern (10 x 60 BBC Worldwide Global Channels), Health Freaks (6 x 30, Channel 4) and Great British Garden Revival (20, x 30 BBC Two). Its formats have also been developed for broadcasters in North America and Europe.
