About Bridget Boseley
Bridget joins Outline from the BBC where she had been head of Features and Formats since September 2006. This studio produces a wide range of established popular factual programmes including Watchdog, Crimewatch and What Not to Wear. Before joining the BBC, Bridget was Controller of Factual programmes at ITV. In this role, she was responsible for commissioning over 100 hours of peak time factual programming and successfully moved ITV’s factual output into new territories with programmes such as: Holiday Showdown (RTS winner and BAFTA nominated), Bad Lads Army and Ladette to Lady.
Prior to joining ITV, Bridget was Controller of Features at Granada Media. This newly created department became a key provider of popular factual programmes supplying, for example, Channel 4 with 100 Greatest and ITV with the BAFTA nominated After They Were Famous. Before joining Granada, Bridget was at the BBC for 10 years, where she started her career as a researcher for Janet Street Porter’s youth department. She went on to produce an array of factual programmes such as Rough Guides and Life Swap, before assuming the role of Editor of Entertainment and Features for the BBC.
