UK distributor Hat Trick International (HTI) has closed Australian, European, Asian and U.S. deals for three Outline Productions factual entertainment programs.
Lifestyle Australia has picked up Tom Kerridge’s Best Ever, a 6 x 30-minute series produced by Outline for BBC2 that sees the Michelin-star chef offering his own versions of classic dishes.
The network has also picked up another Kerridge property – Tom Kerridge’s Proper Pub Food – as has the U.S. Cooking Channel.
Other territories that are taking a bite of Proper Pub Food include HRT (Croatia), AMC (Central and Eastern Europe), Ananey (Israel), Choice (New Zealand), Viasat (Norway and Sweden) and Cineplex (Thailand).
Elsewhere, the first two series of Outline’s Garden Revival have been sold to Lifestyle Australia, TV2 Denmark, RTL Living Germany, AMC Central and Eastern Europe, AMC in Central and Eastern Europe, Choice New Zealand and Canal+ Poland.
The 20 x 60-minute format Garden Revival combines social history and practical advice from noted UK gardening talent ranging from Monty Don and Charlie Dimmock to James Wong and Rachel de Thame (pictured above).
HTI will offer Garden Revival and both Tom Kerridge titles at next month’s MIPCOM market.
“Programming such as Tom Kerridge’s Proper Pub Food and Garden Revival offers an intelligent and inspiring take on topics which are national obsessions wherever you are in the world, and our international broadcasters have been quick to recognize the appeal of these new series,” said HTI’s sales director Sarah Tong in a statement.
