Hosted by Steve Miller, a so-called "no nonsense motivator" who seems to have been transplanted from an 80s regional game show, Fat Families is the likes of 10 Years Younger and You Are What You Ear taken to their natural conclusion: barking "massive fatties" and "lazy lardies" at a shellshocked family of overeaters until they put down the crisps. But the food-cam, phrases like "It's time to get off your wobbly bums" and the fact that Miller closely resembles a creation od Shirley Ghostman's Marc Wotton, means it's got to be a spoof. Hasn't it?
