Lots of us have used excuses for not shedding the pounds. And it makes weight loss expert Steve Miller angry.
"I'm sick of people moaning they can't lose weight," he says. "People are chomping their way to a chubby grave. I'm going to stamp out our obesity epidemic - one fat family at a time."
He takes on six blubbery broods, starting with the Cuff family of Telford, Shropshire - couple Mike, 40, and Tanya, 39, and her mum Anne, 56. Together they weight more than 77 stone. Steve takes charge of their diets and installs a treadmill. He even fits cameras so he can check they are not lazing around, declaring, "The fat police are in town". Goo luck, Cuffs.
